Girard Perregaux SF Rattrapante Foudroyante Ref 9020 platinum.

One of these very good neo vintage Girard Perregaux, one I would love to score, one day. A bit too thick, but still attractive, and how many Chrongraphs do have the foudoyante and the rattrapante? All those who share the same movement, indeed. Best, Nicol

I like the Girard-Perregaux 4956 very much.

One of the best iterations is this one in my personal opinion:

Yes. I have a few of the cushion case

All were made under the auspices of Gino Macaluso. Circa 1999 to 2005. “Vintage 1960” was the initial name for the ref 2598. It was later changed to “Vintage 1970”. This is because it was determined that it was more apt as GP made some more cushion cases

A beautiful pair of Neo Vintage Girard Perregaux 2598 LE Chronographs.

I really like bi compax chronographs and these two from Girard Perregaux are stunning. I especially like the angles of the case that just makes it look more special and interesting it is a shame they only made 30 examples of this beauty and would do well

GP ref 2598 LE - off-catalog beauty

I took some pics of my GP 2598 and my brother’s as well. Mine is on the rubber strap and his is on the orginal croco strap. I swapped my leather strap to rubber today as it was quite rainy. What do you think of the rubber strap? So this Neo-vintage 2598 i

Looks gorgeous....could you share more shots or even of the movement?

Girard Perregaux pieces i feel, are very underrated. Especially from the Macaluso era. They are good value buys in the used market. Rishi 2598, in champagne dial 4930, 36mm in rose gold

🫶🏼 I’m not sure …

I do know some cusion cases where indeed used for the military. Lemania and longines for example. Majetek. This one is called the ”military” dial because of the black dial, lumed hands and numbers. The 2598 is a great neo vintage GP for folks to get. Imag

Cushion cases are such great alternatives to the usual … showing is my NEO-vintage military dial GP ref 2598

About 900 examples made. 38 mm central chronograph with 6 hands, winner of the watch of the year in Japan in 1999. Some will have “1960” engraved on the caseback and some “1970”. Since I was born in 1970, naturally I found the one with my birth year. Anyo

🫶🏼 I can see why everyone loves the Havana dial color but …

I’m on a quest to encourage folks to look beyond JUST dial colors. More depth and understanding or rarity, provenance, heritage, calibres, design elements and DNA. These things really make some GP NEO-vintage shine. For example, Baltic makes some nice loo

Agree 💯 Some production details

There are four cushion case models from GP from 1999-2005 All four lines were limited production. Ref 9012 … I read once that several hundred made. Exact number I do not know. It’s a retrrapante. I do not have it in my collection and not sure if I do or n
